Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to GreetIGo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our event management and greeting application. By accessing GreetIGo, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description & Tiers
GreetIGo provides event tracking, automated reminders, and AI-assisted greeting generation. We offer different service tiers with varying capabilities:
- Free Plan: Limited to 3 contacts/events with email reminders, Slack notifications, browser push support, and Google Contacts sync.
- Plus Plan: Up to 10 contacts/events. Includes paid AI greeting generation plus expanded reminder coverage.
- Premium Plan: Unlimited contacts/events. Includes priority support and the broadest reminder controls, with SMS/Text reminders still limited while US carrier approval is pending.
We reserve the right to modify the features and limits of these tiers at any time.
3. User Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information.
- Use the notification services (SMS/Email) only for legitimate personal purposes (no spamming).
- Maintain the security of your account credentials.
4. Google Contacts Sync
If you use the "Import from Google" feature, you grant GreetIGo permission to read your Google Contacts and Birthdays for the sole purpose of populating your event dashboard. You acknowledge that we rely on the accuracy of the data provided by Google.
5. AI & Content
Our AI greeting generator provides suggestions based on the event context you provide. You understand that:
- AI suggestions are automated and may not always be contextually perfect.
- You are responsible for reviewing messages before sending them.
- You retain ownership of any content you create or modify.
6. Payments & Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time via your dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
7. Disclaimers & Liability
GreetIGo is provided "as is". We are not liable for missed reminders due to carrier issues (Twilio/SendGrid failures), technical downtime, or incorrect user settings. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, including abuse of the SMS system or fraudulent payment activity.
9. SMS Terms & Conditions
GreetIGo is not currently sending production SMS reminders. SMS remains limited while US carrier approval and service readiness are still pending, and the following terms describe the intended SMS program for accounts and regions where SMS is restored:
- Opt-In: When SMS service is restored for your account and region, you may consent to receive automated SMS reminders from GreetIGo. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the number of events you track. Typical frequency is 1-5 messages per week, with delivery timing varying by event schedule.
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS reminder to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation message.
- Help: Reply HELP for support when SMS service is active, or contact us at support@greetigo.com.
- Carrier Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
- No Sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Carrier Availability: SMS delivery, if restored, will depend on carrier support, account eligibility, and regional readiness. Delivery may vary by carrier and network conditions.
