Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Greetigo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our event management and greeting application. By accessing Greetigo, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description & Tiers

Greetigo provides event tracking, automated reminders, and AI-assisted greeting generation. We offer different service tiers with varying capabilities:

• Free Plan: Up to 10 saved dates, with email reminders, email support, and manual entry plus calendar and contacts file import.
• Plus Plan: Up to 10 saved dates. Includes paid AI greeting generation and email reminder coverage.
• Premium Plan: Unlimited saved dates. Includes paid AI greeting generation. SMS and browser push reminders cannot be set up. Slack reminders are included on every plan. Greetigo no longer sends text messages (SMS), including for SMS reminders set up before SMS was paused (see section 9).
• Greetigo for Mac (Mac App Store version): Uses the same account and reminders as the website. It does not include AI drafting or purchases.

We reserve the right to modify the features and limits of these tiers at any time.

3. User Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information.
• Use the email features in Greetigo only for legitimate personal purposes (no spamming).
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.

4. Manual Entry and File Import

Greetigo supports manual entry, CSV files, pasted lists, and importing a calendar (.ics) or contacts (.vcf) file. It does not connect to Google Calendar, Google Contacts or the contacts on your phone.

5. AI & Content

Our AI greeting generator provides suggestions based on the event context you provide. You understand that:

• AI suggestions are automated and may not always be contextually perfect.
• You are responsible for reviewing messages before sending them.
• You retain ownership of any content you create or modify.

6. Payments & Cancellation

Paid plans (Plus at $4.99 per month or $49.90 per year, and Premium at $9.99 per month or $99.90 per year) are billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly depending on the billing period you choose. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial on Plus and Premium; if you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. You may cancel at any time via your dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Referral reward: copy or share your invite link from the Invite page. When 3 people create new Greetigo accounts from that link, your account gets Plus at no charge, with no end date while the referral program runs. Each person counts only if they sign up in the browser where they opened your link, verify their email, and are back in Greetigo in that browser, all within 24 hours of signing up (signing up with Google does this at once). Your own email must be verified. Addresses that differ only by a +tag (name+1@example.com) or, for Gmail, by dots count as one person, and your own address never counts. We check once a day. If you are on a paid plan, on a free trial, or have a failed payment still being retried when the third person qualifies, you get no reward, then or later.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

Greetigo is provided "as is". We are not liable for missed reminders due to email delivery issues (SendGrid failures), technical downtime, or incorrect user settings. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, including sending spam through Greetigo or fraudulent payment activity.
