Greetigo at a glance
- What it is:
- A birthday and anniversary reminder. Before each birthday or anniversary you save, Greetigo emails you with a message already written, which you review, then send or copy.
- Price:
- Free for up to 10 saved dates. Plus is $4.99 a month and Premium is $9.99 a month, each with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
- Runs on:
- Any web browser at greetigo.com, plus an optional app for Mac (macOS 12 or later). There is no iPhone, Android or Windows app.
- Reminders:
- By email, the day before by default, or on the day, or 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before. Mac notifications in the Mac app. No text message (SMS) reminders.
- Help with the message:
- Each birthday and anniversary reminder shows a message ready: a free template with their name, or the AI-written draft you saved on Plus and Premium. Nothing is sent until you click Send.
- Getting dates in:
- Add them by hand, or import a contacts (.vcf), calendar (.ics) or CSV file or a pasted list. An import is a one-time copy, not a live sync.
- A good fit if:
- you have forgotten a date that mattered and want an email the day before with the words ready.
- Not a fit if:
- you want phone notifications on iPhone or Android, text-message reminders, or messages sent for you automatically.
- Reviews:
- Greetigo doesn't publish a star rating, and it has no app store reviews yet.
Who it's for
People who have forgotten a date that mattered, felt bad about it, and never want it to happen again: a parent's birthday, an anniversary, a friend's big day. It works the same way for coworkers' birthdays and work anniversaries.

How reminders work
- You save a person and their date: by hand, or from a contacts (.vcf) file, a calendar (.ics) file, a CSV file or a pasted list. You can type the first one on the home page before you sign up; it saves itself once you are signed in.
- Greetigo emails you the day before, in the morning in your time zone. You can choose on the day instead, or 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before.
- The email shows a message already written, in full: the AI-written draft you saved for that date (Plus and Premium), otherwise a free template with their name. One button opens it, so you can review it and send it from Greetigo, or copy it into a text. The reminder email itself never writes a new draft.
- AI drafts are written by DeepSeek, an outside AI service, and only after you answer yes to "Allow AI drafts?". You can turn them off in Account. See your choice about AI drafts.
- In the Mac app you can also turn on Mac notifications on your reminder days.
- For a team, you can add Greetigo to Slack so reminders are also posted in one channel. Your message is never posted there.
- Nothing is sent without your click. You see the message first, then click Send and Greetigo emails it to them, or copy it into a text or your own email. Each message emailed through Greetigo has an Unsubscribe link for the person who gets it.

Where it runs
In any web browser at greetigo.com, and as an app for Mac (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 12 or later). Both use the same account. On a phone, it works in Safari or Chrome and the reminder comes by email, so there is nothing to install; you can add Greetigo to your Home Screen from the browser's Share or menu button. There is no iPhone or Android app in the App Store or Google Play, and no Windows app. See birthday reminders on a Mac.
What it doesn't do
Greetigo no longer sends text messages (SMS); reminders come by email. There is no live sync with your phone or Google contacts: imports are a one-time copy. It doesn't connect to Facebook. It doesn't sell or mail greeting cards or gifts. Greetigo never sends a message on its own.
