Greetigo SMS reminder transparency

SMS reminders have ended

Greetigo no longer sends text messages (SMS) to anyone. Your reminders come by email, plus Mac notifications in the Mac app.

This includes Premium accounts that turned on SMS reminders before we paused them: they no longer get texts either, even with SMS still ticked in Account. New accounts cannot turn SMS on.

If you saved a mobile number

  • We keep it until you remove it or ask us to delete it. On a Premium plan you can remove it in Account → Notifications on greetigo.com: clear the number and press Save notification settings. On any plan, email team@greetigo.com and we will delete it. Deleting your account deletes it too.
  • You can also untick the SMS box in Account → Notifications and press Save notification settings. You do not need to: no texts are sent either way.
  • If you reply STOP to a past Greetigo text, your mobile carrier and Twilio, the SMS provider we used, record the opt-out.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • We used your phone number only for sending Greetigo event reminders.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number.
  • Twilio keeps its own records of the texts it sent for us in the past, under its own policies.
  • See our full Privacy Policy for details.
