Greetigo sub-processors
To provide our services, Greetigo relies on a small number of trusted third-party service providers that process data on our behalf. Below is the current list of active providers, what they do, and the primary region details we disclose today.

Google Firebase

- Authentication, hosting, database, cloud functions, and core application infrastructure

Google reCAPTCHA
- Purpose
- Checks that a person, not a bot, is signing up, asking for a password reset email, sending a contact form message or opening checkout on greetigo.com. The Mac app does not load it

SendGrid
- Purpose
- Email delivery for verification, password reset, reminder, billing and update emails, and greeting emails users choose to send. SendGrid open and click tracking are off

Stripe
- Purpose
- Subscription billing, checkout, and customer billing portal management. A Stripe customer record with the email address is created for every new account, including free ones, and is not deleted with the account

Slack
- Purpose
- Posts your reminders (whose date it is, the occasion, the day, a link to the reminder and your first name, never your message) to the one Slack channel you connect

Twilio
- Purpose
- Sent our past text message (SMS) reminders. Greetigo no longer sends text messages to anyone, including Premium accounts that turned on SMS before it was paused. Twilio keeps its own records of those past texts (the mobile number, the message and when it was sent)

Sentry
- Purpose
- Error monitoring for the website and web app on greetigo.com. Reports pass through our own server, which does not send your IP address on to Sentry; if our server cannot take a report, your browser sends it to Sentry directly. Our servers do not send their own errors to Sentry, and the Mac app does not send errors to Sentry

DeepSeek
- Purpose
- AI message drafts on Plus and Premium, on greetigo.com and in the Mac app downloaded from greetigo.com. Nothing is sent until the user allows AI drafts. A draft the user asks for sends the person's name, the occasion, the style, the language and any notes typed. Saving a new date on the Dates page also requests a draft automatically once AI drafts are allowed, sending the person's name, the occasion, the style, the date (including the year entered), whether it repeats yearly and the notes typed for that date
