Why We Built Greetigo, and What It Does Today

Most missed birthdays are not about caring less. Greetigo emails you before each date you save, with a message ready to send.

The small relationship failure Greetigo is built for

Most missed birthdays and late thank-you notes do not happen because people do not care. They happen because the moment arrives, the reminder is buried, and there is no easy next step from "I should send something" to actually sending something thoughtful.

Greetigo is built for that gap. It helps you save important people and dates, get email reminders before the moment passes, and turn that reminder into a greeting message or card draft.

What Greetigo does today

The current version is intentionally narrow. It is not a general writing suite, a social network, or a promise to automate every communication channel.

The certified flow is simple:

  1. 1.Add a person and date.
  2. 2.Get an email reminder before the occasion.
  3. 3.Open the reminder and draft a greeting.
  4. 4.Come back later and still have the event saved.

That core journey is the thing we are testing: whether a reminder becomes an action quickly enough to be useful.

Why not just use a calendar?

Calendars are good at storing dates. They are less good at helping you decide what to do after the reminder fires.

Greetigo connects the date, the email reminder, and the greeting draft in one focused workflow. The goal is not to replace your calendar. The goal is to make the next step easier when the reminder arrives and you still need words, context, and a small nudge to follow through.

Where AI fits

The AI part is meant to solve the blank-page problem. It is not meant to replace the sender or flatten personal relationships into generic text.

You still choose the person, the occasion and the style, and you can add notes (for example, how you know them). Greetigo helps you get to a decent first draft faster than starting from nothing, then you decide what sounds like you.

AI drafts are part of the Plus and Premium plans. The free plan includes message templates, so you always have a starting point.

What we are watching

This launch is a demand test, not a victory lap. The number that matters most is whether new visitors create a first reminder, not just whether they click around.

The questions we care about now:

  • Does the first-reminder flow make sense quickly enough?
  • Would people trust a tool like this with personal dates?
  • Is the workflow more useful on the web, as a Mac app, or both?
  • Where should the paid boundary be after the first useful reminder?

Try Greetigo at greetigo.com, save one important date, and see whether it helps you follow through before the moment passes.
